Niall's social links:
Niall Singh is a multi-disciplinary artist whose work utilises collage, poetry, discussion, and folk song. Growing up half Indian and half Scottish in Bedfordshire his practice is heavily informed by lived experiences of racism and is infused with distrust of British historical narratives.
With artworks: ‘Britain has a lot on her plate’, ‘Britain is a crumbling auld relic with a tweed arm and a butcher’s apron (and a colonial hangover!)’, ‘Parallel lives/ Eaton mess’ and ‘Shoes off, boots on the ground’, Niall seeks to expose Britain’s everyday racism. The recipe structured poem ‘Warlords’ metaphorically speaks of food and the consumer’s role in an exploitative global economy.
